Web trading portal · later phase

Our own trading portal comes last, and only with NEPSE approval.

A broker's trading system connects to NEPSE and needs NEPSE's approval. We will offer LSNEP's own order screen and trading system only once NEPSE has approved it. Until then, LSNEP runs alongside the TMS you use today.

The rules

What NEPSE expects before a trading system goes live.

Approval for each system

Since 2022, NEPSE has allowed brokers to run their own TMS, built or bought, once NEPSE finds it suitable after review and testing.

A proven vendor

NEPSE expects vendors to have a strong security record and experience serving stock-trading clients.

A tested connection

Each broker gets its own connection for testing, and goes live only after the test passes.

Our path

How we get there, honestly.

  1. 01

    Run alongside

Phases 1 and 2 serve brokers without touching order flow.
  2. 02

    Earn the record

Build a track record with brokers on the platform, with security tests at every launch.
  3. 03

    Apply to NEPSE

Submit the trading system for NEPSE review once we meet its vendor expectations.
  4. 04

    Go live per broker

Each broker moves only after its own connection test passes.

We do not give dates for this phase. It depends on NEPSE’s review, not on us.

Questions

About the trading portal

Can clients trade through LSNEP today?
Not directly. In the app and portal, the Trade button opens your current TMS, so orders keep going through the system NEPSE has approved for your firm.
Is LSNEP an approved TMS vendor?
No, not yet. We say so plainly, and we will not offer order entry until NEPSE approves it.
Will we have to switch TMS later?
No. Moving to our trading portal would be your choice, if and when it is approved.
