This is the cost basis used for capital gains tax.

Common questions

Why include charges in average cost?
Commission and the SEBON fee are part of what you paid, and capital gains are worked out against the cost including charges.
Do bonus shares change WACC?
Yes. Bonus shares add units, which lowers the average cost; how their cost is recorded follows your DP and tax rules, so check your Meroshare WACC.
