Questions

Common questions

What risk percentage should I use?
That is a personal decision; this tool only does the arithmetic. Many trading courses discuss keeping each trade's risk small relative to capital.
Why are charges included?
Commission, SEBON fee and the DP charge add to the loss if the stop is hit, so ignoring them understates risk.
Does a stop-loss guarantee the exit price?
No. Prices can gap past a stop, especially when a stock moves toward its daily price limit (15% either way since 20 April 2026), so the actual loss can be larger.
